Het aantal misdrijven in Nederland daalt al een paar jaar eigenlijk niet meer, en in Alphen aan den Rijn lijkt het ook die kant op te gaan. Afgelopen jaar deden mensen hier 3133 keer aangifte, blijkt uit politiecijfers. Daarmee is dat cijfer voor het eerst sinds 2020 toegenomen.
