De 74-jarige Bert Feenstra uit Boazum werkte zijn hele loopbaan in het basisonderwijs in Sneek. Naast zijn werk was muziek zijn grote hobby, tot hij hier in 2005 door hartproblemen noodgedwongen mee moest stoppen. Om het gat dat dit sloeg op te vullen, besloot de Boazumer zich te verdiepen in iets waar hij tot dan toe weinig van wist: computers.
