Kazernes in Assen en Havelte, uitbreiding vliegbasis Leeuwarden, grotere oefenterreinen Marnewaard en De Haar, Eemshaven voor zeetransport, munitiedepots in Veenhuizen, bij Staphorst en in de Kollumerwaard. „Het Noorden worden steeds belangrijker voor Defensie”, zegt staatssecretaris Gijs Tuinman (BBB).
