Wielermeerdaagse Noordenveld Westerkwartier werd dinsdagavond afgetrapt met de Ronde van Harkema. Hoewel het deelnemersveld voor een aanzienlijk deel gevuld was met renners uit de Friese ploegen Houttec en Wieler Combinatie Friesland, was het de Leeuwarder Rick Ottema van Diftar Continental Cyclingteam die overtuigend won.
