Jan Vollaard is klaar met recenseren. Na 40 jaar als popjournalist te hebben gesproken met de grote sterren zoals Neil Young, Adele en Mick Jagger hoeft hij geen oordeel meer te hebben over alle nieuwe muziek. Nu is zijn carrière samengevat in het autobiografische boek Pop! 40 jaar tussen idolen en halve zolen. En hij is de schrijver van de hit ’Joke stop met koken’.
