Het dagelijks leven is in augustus gemiddeld 2,8 procent duurder geworden vergeleken met dezelfde maand een jaar geleden. Dat meldt het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) op basis van een snelle raming. De inflatie was daarmee iets lager dan de 2,9 procent in juli.
