Als 3-jarige wordt de van oorsprong Koreaanse Soon Ok (55), samen met haar biologische broertje, geadopteerd door haar Friese ouders. Haar Aziatische achtergrond is terug te zien in haar werk als kunstenares. Dit weekend exposeert ze tijdens de Friese Kunstroute in Jellum.
