Nu ik op de Afsluitdijk toch naast Beth Alexander stond, echtgenote van de Canadese ambassadeur, kon ik het net zo goed vragen. Want het houdt me bezig sinds een rondleiding, jaren geleden, door het Centre Block, de Canadese parlementsgebouwen in Ottawa.
