Ton Bouchier jubileert: hij is 50 jaar actief als kunstenaar en hij is 75 jaar geworden. Zowel galerie De Roos van Tudor in Leeuwarden als Gemeentemuseum Het Hannemahuis in Harlingen wijdt een expositie aan hem. Met in totaal zo’n zestig schilderijen. Er lijkt zich in het recente werk – dat nog even trefzeker en spontaan geschilderd is als voorheen – een omslag af te tekenen in de strekking.
