De kerkbanken stonden er nog en de psalmboekjes lagen op tafel, maar Hayo en Maaike de Vries zagen het in 1998 helemaal zitten: zij bouwden de gereformeerde kerk in Woudsend om tot hun droomwoning. Ze haalden er jaren later het landelijke nieuws mee.
