Feyenoord vindt zichzelf na het inhaalduel met Heracles Almelo na veertien competitiewedstrijden terug op de tweede plaats in de Eredivisie. De Almeloërs werden woensdagavond in een lege Kuip met 2-1 verslagen door twee goals van Luis Sinisterra, die er ook nog eentje (ten onrechte) afgekeurd zag worden.
