Volgens het Engelse tabloid The People zou Blackburn Rovers belangstelling hebben voor Andwele Slory. Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce zou de aanvaller transfervrij willen halen.
Die kans lijkt echter klein, omdat het contract van Slory weliswaar afloopt, maar Feyenoord een optie heeft om zijn contract met nog een seizoen te verlengen. Feyenoord sprak de intentie al uit dat te zullen doen. Volgens The People zouden CSKA Moskou en Panathinaikos zich al concreet gemeld hebben voor Slory.
