KNVB-coach Jan Reurings heeft vier Feyenoorders opgeroepen voor het Nederlands elftal voor spelers onder de zestien jaar. Oranje neemt tijdens het Val de Marne-toernooi in Frankrijk van 27 tot en met 31 oktober op tegen het gastland, Italië en Spanje. Reurings ruimde plaatsen in zijn selectie in voor Boy de Jong, Karim Rekik, Kyle Ebecilio en Vincent Janssen.
