Daniel Alund is door de Zweedse voetbalbond op de standby-lijst geplaatst voor twee oefenwedstrijden van het Zweedse elftal voor spelers onder de zeventien jaar in Nederland. De jeugdspeler van Feyenoord is verzocht zich beschikbaar te houden voor vriendschappelijke duels met het Nederlands WK-team O/17 (9 oktober) en Feyenoord O/17 (12 oktober).
