Karim El Ahmadi heeft woensdag met het Marokkaanse nationale elftal gelijk gespeeld tegen Congo. De eindstand was bij rust al bereikt. Het oefenduel gold als voorbereiding op de komende WK-kwalficatiewedstrijd tegen Togo. Die wordt op 6 september gespeeld. Sekou Cissé ging met Ivoorkust op bezoek bij Tunesië. Dat duel eindigde in een doelpuntloos gelijkspel.
