De wedstrijd tegen VVV Venlo komt te vroeg voor Sekou Cissé en Alexander Ignjatovic, zo meldt het AD. Cissé traint pas sinds gisteren mee en de Serviër Ignjatovic is nog in zijn geboorteland om onder andere een visum te regelen.Verwacht wordt dat Ignjatovic volgende week bij het trainingskamp in Portugal instroomt. Cissé hoopt tegen Sporting Portugal zijn eerste wedstrijd te spelen. 'Dat moet kunnen,' zegt hij zelf. 'Ik kan niet wachten om wat moois te laten zien bij Feyenoord.'
