Georginio Wijnaldum, Kelvin Leerdam en Luis Pedro zijn opgenomen in de selectie van het Nederlands elftal voor spelers onder 19 jaar. Het elftal van KNVB-coach Wim van Zwam speelt eind maart twee oefeninterlands. Op 27 maart staat een wedstrijd in en tegen Servië op het programma, waarna vier dagen later Roemenië de tegenstander is op Sportpark de Groote Wielen in Rosmalen.
