Giovanni van Bronckhorst liet bij Radio Rijnmond weten dat Kevin Hofland na afloop van het duel tegen CSKA Moskou naar het ziekenhuis moest om zijn hand te onderzoeken. Volgens Van Bronckhorst is het nog niet duidelijk wat de blessure precies is, mogelijk gaat het om een breuk of een peesblessure.
