Salomon Kalou heeft alweer een nieuwe club gevonden. De oud-Feyenoorder komt komend seizoen uit voor Botafogo in Brazilië. De 34-jarige Ivoriaanse aanvaller komt transfervrij over van de Duitse club Hertha BSC.
Kalou speelde zes seizoenen voor Hertha BSC en kwam tot 173 wedstrijden. In totaal wist hij 53 doelpunten te maken. Daarvoor was de aanvaller actief voor Lille, Chelsea, Feyenoord en Excelsior.
