Ádám Szalai gaat definitief niet de nieuwe spits van Feyenoord worden. De 31-jarige Hongaar heeft vandaag een contract getekend bij FSV Mainz 05 tot medio 2021. Szalai speelde eerder drie seizoenen in het shirt waar oud-Feyenoorders Jerry St. Juste en Jean-Paul Boetius onder contract staan. Het is niet duidelijk of de Rotterdammers concreet waren voor de lange aanvaller.
