Jens Toornstra heeft dinsdag zijn contractverlenging definitief gemaakt. De middenvelder zette zijn handtekening onder een contract dat hem tot medio 2022 aan Feyenoord verbindt. Het vorige contract van Toornstra liep door tot medio 2021. Eerder kwamen speler en club al tot een principeakkoord over een contractverlenging.
