Kenneth Vermeer en Tonny Vilhena behoren tot de definitieve selectie van het Nederlands elftal. De ploeg komt in actie tijdens de Final Four van de Nationale League. Steven Berghuis behoorde tot de voorselectie maar is afgevallen.
Het Nederlands elftal is voor de halve finale van de Nations League gekoppeld aan Engeland. Dit duel staat donderdag 6 juni vanaf 20.45 uur (Nederlandse tijd) in het Portugese Guimarães op de agenda. De andere halve finale – tussen Zwitserland en Portugal – wordt een dag eerder gespeeld in Porto. Ook daar is de kick-off 20.45 uur. Drie dagen later wordt in Porto (20.45 uur) en Guimarães (15.00 uur) om respectievelijk de eerste en derde plaats gespeeld.
