Robin van Persie is weer terug in de wedstrijdselectie van Feyenoord. De 35-jarige aanvaller is fit genoeg om op de bank plaats te nemen nadat hij een kuitblessure had opgelopen. Giovanni van Bronckhorst legt in gesprek met FOX Sports uit waarom hij niet in de basis start.
''Robin heeft hard gewerkt, is beschikbaar om in te vallen, maar is nog niet helemaal waar hij moet zijn om te kunnen starten,'' vertelt Van Bronckhorst. ''Robin loopt al zo lang mee, die kent zijn lichaam het beste. Ook wat goed voor hemzelf is. Voor Robin is het heel helder.''
