Het Nederlands elftal heeft zondag de kwalificatiewedstrijd tegen Duitsland verloren. De ploeg van bondscoach Ronald Koeman kwam door goals van Virgil van Dijk en Memphis Depay goed terug van een 0-2 achterstand, maar verloor in de slotminuten alsnog: 2-3.
Feyenoorders Tonny Vilhena en Steven Berghuis kwamen, net zoals in de wedstrijd tegen Wit-Rusland (4-0), niet in actie.
