Karim El Ahmadi is maandag met succes geopereerd in het Erasmus MC te Rotterdam. Op de operatietafel werd hij door liesspecialist dokter Van Eijck behandeld aan een 'sportershernia', een kleine liesbreuk. Dat letsel is operatief hersteld. De verwachting is dat de 23-jarige Feyenoorder over zes weken weer wedstrijdfit kan zijn.
