Justin Bijlow is genomineerd voor de Golden Boy-award 2018. Dat meldt Tuttosport, de organisator van de internationale prijs. De lijst van genomineerden telt honderd spelers uit verschillende competities. De grote favoriet voor de titel Golden Boy 2018 is Kylian Mbappé.
Naast Bijlow maken ook Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Manchester United), Justin Kluivert (AS Roma) en Teun Koopmeiners (AZ) kans op de prestigieuze prijs, die in oktober wordt uitgereikt. In het verleden maakten Feyenoorders als Luc Castaignos, Tonny Vilhena en Jari Schuurman kans op de prijs.
