Darijo Srna, aanvoerder van Feyenoords Champions League tegenstander Shakhtar Donetsk, is positief bevonden bij een dopingcontrole, zo bevestigt de club op haar officiële website.
Dat zou gebeurd zijn tijdens een 'out of competition controle' op 22 maart. De rechtsback beweert dat van opzet geen sprake is. Hoewel hij niet geschorst is, zal de aanvoerder van de Oekraïense club niet in actie komen tot de zaak is opgehelderd. Feyenoord neemt het op 17 oktober in De Kuip op tegen Shakhtar.
