De wedstrijd Feyenoord - Real Sociedad staat onder leiding van Pieter Vink. Dit is tevens de laatste wedstrijd voor de scheidsrechter die hij op betaald niveau fluit. Na 22 jaar trouwe dienst laat Vink weten te stoppen met zijn carrière. Zaterdag 29 juli neemt hij afscheid in De Kuip
''Toen ik onlangs weer geblesseerd raakte, voelde ik dat het moment gekomen was om te stoppen. Met pijn in het hart, maar het is goed zo,'' vertelt de 50-jarige Pieter Vink op de website van de KNVB.
