Feyenoord treft donderdagavond met Fenerbahçe een van de drie Turkse topclubs uit Istanbul. Samen met rivalen Galatasaray en Besiktas maakt de in 1907 opgerichte club al decennia lang de dienst uit in het Turkse voetbal. Feyenoord TV reisde in de aanloop naar het duel met Fenerbahçe vooruit naar de metropool en maakte een portret van club en stad.
