Feyenoord neemt het in de groepsfase van de Europa League op tegen Manchester United, Fenerbahce en Zorya Luhansk. De loting betekent dat spelers als Zlatan Ibrahimović, Paul Pogba en ook Robin van Persie op bezoek komen in De Kuip.
“We gaan grote wedstrijden spelen in de Europa League, zowel in Istanbul als in Rotterdam”, zegt José Mourinho, trainer van The Red Devils, op de persconferentie. “Het zullen goede wedstrijden voor ons worden.” Het wedstrijdschema wordt vanmiddag rond 15.15. uur bekend.
