De laatste editie van Feyenoord – FC Twente was voor twee spelers een bijzondere. Zowel Simon Gustafson als Michiel Kramer wist vorig seizoen tegen de Tukkers voor het eerst te scoren in De Kuip. De Zweed maakte op zondag 22 november 2015 de eerste twee Rotterdamse goals, waarna de spits direct na rust Feyenoords derde maakte. Karim El Ahmadi en Bilal Basaçikoglu bepaalden de eindstand tegen het kansloze Twente op 5-0.
