Romeo Castelen gaat zijn geluk beproeven in Zuid-Korea. De 33-jarige aanvaller is woensdag gepresenteerd bij Suwon Samsung Bluewings, dat op de twaalfde en laatste plaats staat in de hoogste divisie.
Castelen verruilde RKC Waalwijk twee seizoenen terug voor het Australische Western Sydney Wanderers. Daarvoor voetbalde hij bij ADO Den Haag, Feyenoord en Hamburger SV.
Castelen speelde tien interlands. Dat was van 2004 tot 2007, toen Oranje onder leiding stond van bondscoach Marco van Basten.
