De beroepscommissie van de KNVB heeft besloten dat de Tukkers toch actief mogen blijven op het hoogste niveau, al moet de club wel een boete van 180.000 euro betalen. In Doetinchem komt het nieuws aan als een mokerslag, want daardoor degradeert De Graafschap naar de Jupiler League.
