Komend weekeinde wordt voorafgaand aan alle wedstrijden in de Eredivisie en de Jupiler League een minuut stilte in acht genomen ter nagedachtenis aan Johan Cruijff, zo ook bij de thuiswedstrijd van Feyenoord tegen Excelsior van aanstaande zaterdag. Ook dragen alle spelers en scheidsrechters komende speelronde een rouwband, zo hebben de Eredivisie CV, de Coöperatie Eerste Divisie (CED), alle clubs en de KNVB besloten.
