Feyenoord heeft zich na verlenging geplaatst voor de kwartfinale van de KNVB beker. Via een benutte strafschop in de voorlaatste minuut kreeg Dirk Kuyt tegenstander Willem II op de knieën: 2-1. De penalty werd door scheidsrechter Ed Janssen gegeven nadat Michiel Kramer door Dries Wuytens werd neergelegd.
