Na Rick Karsdorp heeft nu ook Bart Nieuwkoop zijn contract tot 2020 verlengd. Feyenoord kan in de toekomst dus flink gaan cashen voor beide talenten, afkomstig van Varkenoord. "Er bestaan geen clausules in de contracten," zegt Martin van Geel tegenover De Telegraaf.
Met uitzondering van Vilhena lopen alle contracten in De Kuip meerdere jaren door. Vilhena kan dus als enige aan het eind van het seizoen gratis vertrekken.
