Karim El Ahmadi is niet aanwezig op de eerste training van Feyenoord. De international mist bovendien het allereerste oefenduel met SC Feyenoord. De Marokkaan krijgt langer vakantie door internationale verplichtingen, al haakte hij wel af voor de interland met Libië van Marokko.
Karim El Ahmadi haakt af bij Marokko voor interland tegen Libië, middenvelder is geblesseerd. Op 6 juli meldt hij zich weer bij #Feyenoord.
