Feyenoord is zondagmiddag op bezoek bij FC Utrecht niet verder gekomen dan een doelpuntloos gelijkspel. Drie dagen na de Europese thuiswedstrijd tegen AS Roma slaagde Feyenoord er ondanks diverse goede kansen in de Domstad niet in om het verschil te maken. Miquel Nelom ging tien minuten na rust geblesseerd naar de kant.
