Fred Rutten heeft op de afsluitende training Khalid Boulahrouz gepositioneerd als rechtsback. Dat duidt er wellicht op dat Luke Wilkshire nog niet voldoende is hersteld van zijn hamstringblessure. Rick Karsdorp, die tegen Vitesse nog de vervanger was, wordt daarmee mogelijk gepasseerd.
