De Rotterdamse derby in de Beloftencompetitie Divisie B is maandagavond winnend afgesloten door Jong Feyenoord/Excelsior. Dankzij doelpunten van Joey Sleegers en Bruno Martins Indi rekende de ploeg van coaches Patrick Lodewijks en Pierre van Hooijdonk na rust af met Jong Sparta Rotterdam: 2-0. Ruud Vormer maakte op Woudestein zijn rentree na een liesblessure, terwijl Martins Indi voor het eerst sinds zijn schorsing van drie duels weer in actie kwam.
