Feyenoord beleeft al de slechtste competitiestart sinds 50 jaar, maar de club moet het komende zondag in Amsterdam ook nog doen zonder de geschorsten Stefan de Vrij, Jordy van Deelen en Elvis Manu. Die schorsingen komen bovenop de blessures van Jean-Paul Boëtius en Daryl Janmaat. Trainer Ronald Koeman zal dan ook flink moeten puzzelen in aanloop naar de Klassieker tegen Ajax.
