Hoewel Kelvin Leerdam de afgelopen weken enkel in verband werd gebracht met clubs in de Nederlandse eredivisie, kan de middenvelder van Feyenoord ook een buitenlands avontuur aangaan. De speler weigerde in oktober zijn aflopende contract bij de Rotterdammers te verlengen en technisch directeur Martin van Geel hoopt zodoende deze winter nog afscheid te kunnen nemen van de multifunctionele speler om nog wat geld te vangen. Diverse clubs uit de Duitse en Russische competitie zien wel wat in de 22-jarige Leerdam, weet Voetbal International.
