Feyenoord coach Ronald Koeman liet tijdens de persconferentie weten dat Tonny Vilhena en Jean-Paul Boëtius woensdag te laat waren voor de wedstrijdbespreking. Vilhena, die aanvankelijk in de basis zou starten, moest daardoor op de bank beginnen in Heerenveen als disciplinaire maatregel.
Koeman: „Boëtius zou op de bank beginnen, maar Vilhena stond in mijn plannen in de basis. Die twee waren echter te laat en dat betekent bij mij dat je op de bank begint.”
