Mats van Huijgevoort, Matthew Steenvoorden en Anass Achahbar zijn opgenomen in de definitieve selectie van het Nederlands elftal voor spelers onder 19 jaar, voor de oefeninterland tegen Zwitserland. Die wedstrijd wordt op woensdag 29 februari aanstaande gespeeld in het Zwitserse Locarno. Elvis Manu en Moreno Rutten staan op de stand-by lijst. Ook oud-Feyenoorders Karim Rekik (Manchester City) en Kyle Ebecilio (Arsenal) behoren tot de selectie voor de wedstrijd tegen Zwitserland.
