Voordat Feyenoord in de voorbereiding op het nieuwe seizoen 2011/2012 een trainingskamp belegt in Engeland, doet de Rotterdamse club dat ook nog in Nederland. Van 11 tot 16 juli verblijft de ploeg van trainer Mario Been volgens Feyenoord-watcher en Voetbal International journalist in Ermelo.
De Stadionclub vertrekt vervolgens op vrijdag 22 juli naar Engeland om op woensdag 27 juli weer terug te keren in Rotterdam. Feyenoord speelt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk twee oefenduels. Op zaterdag 23 juli is Barnsley F.C. de tegenstander en op dinsdag 26 juli wordt er tegen Hull City geoefend.
