Roelof Luinge beleefde donderdagavond in zijn lange loopbaan als scheidsrechter in het betaalde voetbal een uniek moment. De 54-jarige Drent kreeg in zijn laatste wedstrijd, Feyenoord - Ajax in De Kuip (1-4), een heuse publiekswissel.
Vrolijk zwaaiend en toch ook wel een tikje emotioneel stapte hij in de 88e minuut naar de kant. Vierde official Kevin Blom maakte daarna de wedstrijd vol.
