Een uur, misschien iets langer. Meer speeltijd zat er zaterdag eigenlijk niet in voor spits Thomas Verheydt. Maar gelukkig voor Willem II bleef de basisdebutant tóch de hele wedstrijd staan. Want zijn twee goals (de tweede viel in de slotfase) waren tegen Vitesse goed voor de zege: 1-2.
