Roeien op de WK? Als je dat jaren geleden had gevraagd aan Vera Sneijders, had ze volmondig nee geantwoord. ‘Per toeval’ kwam de 24-jarige uit Gerwen in de roeiboot terecht. Nu, jaren later, zal haar naam voor het eerst rondgaan op het wereldtoneel tijdens de WK roeien in Shanghai.
