EINDHOVEN - Als 15-jarige ging hij veel met Romário op pad. Mauritz Verheijden uit Eindhoven sprak vloeiend Portugees, de moedertaal van de voetballer, en dat leverde hem dit bijbaantje als tolk op. Het legde de kiem voor een internationale carrière bij Buitenlandse Zaken die inmiddels al 27 jaar duurt.
