Voor SV Deurne eindigde het seizoen in mineur. Mierlo-Hout was in de nacompetitie over twee duels met 9-4 te sterk waardoor de club ook komend seizoen in de eerste klasse actief is. Voor Stijn Boerenkamps (20) was het ondanks het bittere eind een succesvol jaar. „De trainer heeft mij veel complimenten gegeven.”
